Bright Star – Providing SPV support and services for military cooperation exercises

REQUIREMENT

The contract is about the provision of a reliable and rapidly deployable SPV platform with supply chain management and logistics to the Egyptian and US Armed Forces during their training.

SOLUTION

The Egyptian and US Armed Forces have engaged in joint training exercises every two years since 2003 to strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding of tactics, techniques, and procedures.

The Exercise Bright Star is conceived to teach nations how to operate with one another in a wartime environment. EFS Ebrex has supported the subsistence requirements for the American soldiers for this exercise over the years delivering US origin products, bagged ice cubes, bottled water, fresh fruits and vegetables regardless of the logistical challenges associated with political instability.
