Food procurement and delivery, plus the overall management and administration of the various services under the contract, have been running since 2006 – the very beginning of the assignment as a general contractor.

Solution

Despite the volatility, ES-KO International has continued to support peacekeeping forces throughout the crises, serving over the years more than 15,000 strength.

A reliable rations delivery plan using specialized barges on the Nile River to access the most remote locations such as Nassir, has been developed. However, due to security issues affecting the entire mission area, this supply service has been inconsistent and frequent air delivery is necessary. 
This operational mode requires high-level logistics and efficient supply chain, organized in 4 warehouses, 85 delivery points and a point of contact (POC) which is available 24/7 to interact effectively with the Client and ensure efficient ordering and timely delivery.
