Catering, housekeeping, laundry services and provision of retail complex in Kurdistan

REQUIREMENT

The contract is established to provide catering, housekeeping and laundry services into two camps with a total strength of 1,150 to 1,400 persons of different nationalities. All the products required by the operation are procured, consolidated and transported by the company in charge.

SOLUTION

The Client (name is confidential) specializes in design-build, construction management and general contracting for international clients, and operates in Kurdistan borders Turkey, Iran and Syria.

For a major project regarding the construction of the new US Consulate Complex in Erbil, ES-KO International mobilized quickly and started catering services from its own, fully equipped, container kitchen until the semi-permanent facilities at the camps were operational. As per request, different types of menu including themed ones are served, while maintaining strong control over food waste prices. During the project, the services portfolio has increased to cover larger facilities maintenance tasks as a retail complex to the main camp, including a pizzeria, barber shop and other retail outlets.
